Over 40 years ago, I moved from France to Finland—and I’ve cherished life here every day since. Though I became fluent in Finnish and actively use it, my love for the French language never faded. I’ve occasionally taught French in Helsinki, and to this day, I write all my lyrics in French.

What captivates me most is composing melodies for my own lyrics. Songwriting is a slow, meticulous craft, but like all skilled artisans know, the reward lies in the finished creation. I also adore translating great songs into French—whether from Finnish, English, or Swedish—breathing new life into them.

Later, I ventured into screenwriting, publishing several cinema scripts and receiving awards at international film festivals. There’s nothing quite like the encouragement of recognition from a jury of professionals.
